We do seem to differ on what is conservative, because to my mind taking care of our land, air, and water is a conservative imperative. Waste not, want not …. a stitch in time, saves nine … a penny saved, is a penny earned. Squandering our natural wealth so that a few people can become insanely wealthy is not conservative, imo. I’m more into small businesses, small farms, and small towns. Maybe that’s more personal preference than a political ideology.

As for Obama, he is governing pretty much the way I expected. I checked out his record before the election last year and he is a centrist, and to the right of Clinton, actually. So now everybody is irritated with him, on the left and the right. I certainly couldn’t stand the heat in that kitchen.
