This BLOG is a postscript, abbreviated P.S., to the writing and news of the day. A postscript may be a sentence, a paragraph, or occasionally many paragraphs added, often hastily and incidentally. The purpose is to express my feelings, thoughts and beliefs about law, politics and the social issues confronting Angelinos, Californians, and Americans. I invite everyone to comment on my views.
I was born in Canada but have lived in Los Angeles, California since the age of 10. After graduation from California State University Northridge I worked in manufacturing materials management for 40 years. I am now a legal document assistant and notary.
Where do you hope to be in five years? It’s the favorite employer question at an employee interview. I no longer have to put up with that question because I now have my own business. For discussion sake I plan to be in Leisure Village in five years.
Leisure Village does exist. It’s a gated senior community in Camarillo, California.
